Genie List ("Genie List," "we," "us," or "our") operates genielister.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Genie List is currently in a pre-launch, waitlist stage — this page describes what we collect today. Once the product itself launches, this policy will be updated to cover how the listing tool handles your photos and marketplace account connections.
1. Information we collect
Right now, genielister.com only collects information you choose to give us:
- Email address — when you submit the waitlist form on this site, we collect the email address you provide.
- Direct contact — if you email us directly (e.g. at jack@genielister.com), we retain that correspondence in order to respond to you.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we do not collect payment information, marketplace credentials, or photos through genielister.com today.
2. How we use your information
- To notify you when early access opens and to share relevant product updates.
- To respond to questions or support requests you send us directly.
- To understand overall interest in the product (e.g. waitlist size).
We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to run this site, who process data on our behalf:
- Formspree — processes waitlist form submissions and delivers them to us. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosts this website and may log standard technical request data (e.g. IP address, browser type) for security and performance purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy.
4. Data retention
We keep waitlist email addresses until early access has been offered and the launch communication period has ended, or until you ask us to delete your information — whichever comes first.
5. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing jack@genielister.com. We will respond and act on verified requests within a reasonable time.
6. Children's privacy
Genie List is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product develops — particularly once the listing tool itself launches and begins handling photos and marketplace account connections. We'll post the revised policy here and update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers by email.
8. Contact us
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to jack@genielister.com.
